QuestionQUESTION: Own a 2001 Sebring LXI. I've seen you posts about the dash fuses (5, 8, 14)...is there any underhood fuse that would impact the radio alone. All other systems are working fine (lights, signals...) although my dash lights flicker on and off.
ANSWER: Fuses 4,10,11 under the hood, and fuse 1 at the dash (if you have the separate amplifier system) are the ones to look at closely.

QUESTION: Thanks Roland...however, my fuse diagram has no numbers, just descriptors. Where do I start counting?
ANSWER: I just revised the first answer so look at that revision. But I really need to know which body style is the Sebring you have so as to have the correct manual when I tell you how to identify the location of the fuses for the radio.
I have the manual for the '01 Sebring 4-door sedan and convert, and for the Sebring 2-door coupe I have the '00 manual and the '04 manual. If you have the 2-door coupe, count the number of fuses in the box that is at the dash and that way I will know which of my manuals applyg to your vehicle. If you have the 4-door sedan, then there is no uncertainty. But I do need to know which body style you '01 Sebring is exactly.

The in-dash fuses are 5, 8, 14 and those are found by starting on the top row from front to rear are 1-8 while the second row are 9-17 counting front to rear. There are 3 fuses in the engine compartment that do power those 3 dash fuses BUT they also power many other things so if any one of those were blown you would notice failures beyond the radio. In dash fuse sockets 5 and 8 should be 'hot' all the time, while fuse 14 should be "hot" when the key is in the run or accessory positions. If you find that to be the case then the fuses in the engine compartment are indeed working. The 3 fuses in the engine compartment are # 8,11,16 and the fuses are numbered 1-11 in the front row going from outside to inside, and 12-25 in the back row similarly.
