Chrysler Repair: 02 voyager crd: multi-system electrical failure, corrosion failure, voyager 2

hi roland i have a voyager 2.5 crd 2002 model.some of the have stopped working the remote central locking,power doors,all dash lights,speedo,rev counter,wipers and washers. but car starts and drives fine.the other curious thing is the lights come on when i start it and i cannot turn them off .any help welcome.

Hi Bryan,
The most common cause for the multi-system failure as you describe is corrosion/failure of the smallest thickness red wire (one of three) at the + post clamp of the battery. This wire powers the cluster and the body controller, and others have reported that it has failed at the clamp due to battery acid corrosion. If that is OK then averify that you show 12v to be present on pin 9 (same red wire) of the 10-wire blue colored plug located on the back side of the power distribution box in the engine compartment. The 'intergrated power module' rotates sideways to give you access to those plugs. So remove the blue plug and verify that the red wire at pin 9 is showing 12v.
