Answer
Hi Dave,
The blower motor gets a direct supply of current from fuse #23 (30 amp) and if the power module fails the motor may no longer be controlled. The module is on the underside of the HVAC unit near the blower motor located at the right end of the unit. To access the module you would want to remove the lower edge of the dash on the right side to improve view, and once you see the blower motor housing you can then follow the wire from there to the nearby module. It has a plug, and is held in place by 2 screws. It will drop out of the housing once the screws are removed. Whether it can be repaired depends upon which electronic component is blown. Check the circuit board for signs of a blown out resistor or leaky electrolytic capacitor. You may be able to solder in place repair electronic parts.
