I hope this message finds you well.

Roland, I recently purchased a keyless remote on eBay for a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country Lxi.  The remote now needs to be programmed.  I believe on earlier models it was possible to ground out a wire in order to allow the remote to be programmed, or to use another working remote.  I do not have another working remote.  Is there a way I can program my remote without having to take it to the dealership?

Hi David,
Unfortunately without a working remote you can't program another remote. It has to have the intervention of the Diagnostic Readout Box or equivalent. You might do some comparison shopping for the charge, comparing dealer vs. automobile locksmith.
