Chrysler Repair: electric connection to radiator fan: 95 minivan, chrysler town and country, radiator shop

Thank you for takinq this question. I am tryinq to help my husband locate a part for our 1995 Chrysler Town and Country...a part for which I cannot find a name after 3 days of internet searchinq. Our car is, as I write, sittinq in a radiator shop because they can't find it either. In one conversation it was referred to as a "piqtail"pluq. Nor do I know from where this device comes but the best I can determine is possibly from the relay to the fan. If I had a name I could possibly research more effectively. There are 4 wires connected to the pluq and it fits into the side of the fan.
Obviously I don't know very much and for that I apoloqize but if you can, in your qenious way make any sense out of this, I would be most qrateful.

Hi Penny,
The fan motor in the fan module has a four-wire square shape plug and socket that has a harness attached to the incoming plug. Three of the wires come from the power distribution box nearby where they are attached (one to each) to the three fan control relays in that box. The fourth black wire goes to a ground point near the left headlamp housing. I suspect it will be hard to find exactly that plug with its harness wire from a dealer. So the choice would be to hardwire the wires of the harness to the pins in the socket with which they mate or go to a local junk yard to find the plug and harness in a wreck which you can cut off and then splice into the wires of the present harness. The '93 and '95 manuals I have show identical wiring diagrams so if you can find a '93-95 wrecked minivan it ought to have the same harness and plug.
I don't see any other plug with 4 wires than what I have described. I haven't seen the term 'pigtail plug' described as a 'part' which is replaceable. So if this rings true I believe that you have a way to resolve it. I don't see any 'switch' at the fan. The fan/motor/frame that holds them are called the fan module and it apparently is sold by the dealer as a module. Again, a module from a 93-95 wreck should substitute.

PS The '91 model is different from the '93-95 model years. It is possible that a '92 may be like yours. A wrecking yard is your best hope.
