Chrysler Repair: 06 chrysler 300 wiper issue, volt ohm meter, chrysler 300

Question
hit a bump yesterday and my wipers turned on.  They will not go off even with car off.  Can use control to turn to highest setting, but not intermittent.  Had to pull the fuse out.  Any ideas/suggestions?

thank you

Answer
Hi Bob,
If this is still on-going we could either begin with a fault code readout using a plug-in code reader, or try to troubleshoot conventionally with a voltohm meter and the wiring diagrams for reference. You can get a free code readout at most nationwide autoparts stores such as Autozone, and the reader should be capable or reading the memory of the body control module for codes that are preceded by a B and then have a 4-digit number following. Let me know if you get any positive result. Otherwise let me know if you have a volt-ohm meter and would care to troubleshoot this in the old-fashioned manner.

PS Sorry for the delay but I just found the question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred by the other expert.
