Chrysler Repair: no spark, rear cylinder head, powertrain control module

QUESTION: Hi Russell i have a chrysler town &country LX with a 3.3L V6 it was made on 9/2001. I drove the van home and turned it off about an hour later i went to leave and it would crank over but not start i first checked for feul and there was pressure at the feul rail so i checked spark no spark i looked in the IPM fuse&relay center and found the ASD fuse was blown i replacsd it but it just poped agian can you tell me where to start to trace this i work on 94 to 98 ford mustangs and know them verry well but for this i dont know where to start. thank you

ANSWER: Check the wiring harness for the injectors at the back of the rear cylinder head. The wire back jhere have been known to melt together even though they are covered by a heat shield of sorts. Roll that covering back and youi should see the cause of your problem.

QUESTION: Thanks agian your answer was a lot of help can you tell me a little more about the ASD can anything shut it down is it just that fuse block or is it a seperate control unit thanks agian

The ASD relay provides power to the injectors and coil pack. It is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module. The relay is located in the fuse panel in the engine compartment. Thank you for the comments and feedback. Glad to read you found the problem.
