Chrysler Repair: Power window, chrysler new yorker, continuity test

QUESTION: I want to know what is the problem of my power windows, the the driver side and the back passenger right side is not working but the front passenger right side and the back driver left side is working, I dont know what is the problem coz a few days ago they are all working but that 2 windows is on and off and now its now working anymore...can u give me idea what to do, Thanks.

ANSWER: I need to know the year/make/body style to be able to consult the wiring diagrams.

Hi Pio Tech,
There is nothing in the power supply to the windows or the wiring of the window  system that would explain the situation. It has to either be a faulty master switch in the driver door or the motors in those two separate doors decided to stop working at about the same time. It is possible the right rear switch is bad as an alternative explation for that particular door. I can xerox copy and postal mail you the tests of the master switch that you can do with a continuity tester and also the individual switch in the other doors so you can verify whether it is a switch issue. If not, then you can try jumping battery + and - voltages to the motor plugs in the affected doors to verify that the motors are either good or not. I would start with the master switch, remove it, and try spraying electrical contact cleaner into the interior of the switch. If that doesn't help, then do the continuity test of the switch.
