QuestionQUESTION: I have a 99 Chrysler Town & Country, 2WD, 3.8L, Engine code L. It idles fine, but when I take it on the road it seems to cut out when I put my foot on the gas pedal. It lacks power while in gear only, and not at in Park or Neutral. Engine code comes up P0122 TPS, but the TPS tests good.
ANSWER: Low fuel pressure, failing coil pack or a plugged exhaust are the first things that come to mind. Have those systems tested.

QUESTION: Thanks for your response. I have tested those systems, the charging system, all fuel injectors, ignition system, and replaced a bad battery. Any other ideas? What about the transmission?
AnswerIf the transmission is shifting I doubt the root of problems lies there. The only further advise I could give at this point in time would be to take the van to a reputable repair facility and have them perform a thorough diagnostic. There is little I can do without more information.
