Chrysler Repair: 97concorde lx wont start, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor

Question
I have a 97 concorde and replaced the transmission. but now the car wont start. the crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor signals are present but no signalis coming from the PCM to the coil pack or fuel injectors. I should mention the transmission was from a junk yard. are there signals from the trans. to PCM that will stop the PCM from generating the signal to the injectors and coil

Answer
The transmission would have nothing to do with a no start condition. If the engine did not crank then there could be a problem with the transmissions shifter signal, but that doesn;t seem to be the issue. Was anything else, beside the transmission, replaced? My thoughts are that you left the crank position sensor on the junkyard transmission in place and it was either damaged when installing the transmission or the sensor was no good to begin with. Try replacing the sensor from the old transmission in the junker and see what happens. It obviously ran with that in.
