Nissan Repair: 2004 nissan quest, controller failure, 2004 nissan quest

Question
My abs, tcs off, slip and emergency brake lights all came on at once, a week after having the computer replaced. Took it back to the dealer hoping it was related to the previous work, told I need a new ABS controller.  Put off having this done because of expense.  Emergency brake light went off a day later, other lights are now on intermittently, but now the abs electrical motor is running constantly, even when the van is off and the keys are not in the ignition.

The work order from when I had it in to be checked stated 110233 ABS/VDC/SLIP LIGHTS ON, SCAN CODES (C1140 ACTUATOR RLY,C1110 CONTOLLER FAILURE.  CHECK MAIN CONNECTOR OK, CHECK POWER SUPPLY TO MODULE (CONNECTOR E125, TERMINAL 1) 12V OK, CHECK GROUND SUPPLY TO MODULE (CONNECTOR e125, TERMINAL 46) 0ohm's OK, THERE IS INTERNAL CONTROLLER FAILURE.
Don't know if this all helps you or not.  I am concerned that I will get this new controller at great expense and this electrical problem will still be there.  Do you think it is all the same problem or something separate again?  Thanks you so much for your time.

Answer
Ann,

Unplug the ABS fuse and the noise should go away.  I would be looking on the internet for a replacement module.  If removing the fuse does not work disconnect the electrical harness from the unit.  That should get you by, it will work like a regular vehicles brakes until you get the replacement part.
