Chrysler Repair: 6 disc cd player, cd player repair, improper position

My cd player will not work properly. I hear the player try to work but "disc error" appears on the Navigator screen. How do I take the center dash console on a 2006 Chrysler T&C apart. I think that maybe a disc moved to an improper position and I need to take the 6 disc player out of the center console and look at it. Thanks for taking my question.

You more than likely have disc that has jammed in the player. this could be due to either a warped disc, non-standard size disc or a pealed label from a burned disc. I would not recommend taking the player apart to try and fix it unless you have extensive knowledge of radio/CD player repair. Heck we don't even try to do it. Your only options at this point would be to try and find one at a junkyard or bring the vehicle to a dealership to get an exchange unit, which aren't cheap.
