Chrysler Repair: Ign. Fuel Starter fuse, sebring jx, fuel pump relay

QUESTION: I have a fuse in the fuse box under the hood that blows every time I try to turn the car on. Its the fuse that says "Ign. Fuel starter".

Answer
The fuse that is failing supplies power to the Starter Relay and the Fuel pump relay. If the fuse fails only when you turn the ignition to the run position you may have a short in the power feed wire to the fuel pump or a failed fuel pump. To determine if it's the pump or wiring you can disconnect the black pump wiring connector which is located in the right side of the trunk, just behind the back seat. If the fuse doesn't fail when you turn the key toi run, the fuel pump has failed.
