Hi Tamara,
Because I don't have a reference for Sam's question or my answer I can't be certain what I answered to him. If you would tell me the date of thw question/answer I could better tell you.
The issue is probably a wiring 'open' or 'short' in the sensor wire or 12 or 5V wires to the egr solenoid. I can copy a couple of pages from the manual that list the steps to trouble shoot this code, and also include a copy of the wiring diagram for the egr solenoid and position sensor as an attachment. Send me back a 'private' followup question wherein you tell me your email address and I will send the pages to you there. I need to know your email because while you do tell Allexperts what it is, I don't otherwise see it.
