Chrysler Repair: Stereo not working: 01 T & C, check fuse, negative cable

Question
Last weekend I replaced the blower motor in my 2001 Chrysler T&C Limited, I disconnected the negative cable from the battery before I started as the manual instructed me to do, then when I finished and reconnected the battery, to my surprise the stereo no longer works, is there something that I need to do to reset the stereo, the manual says nothing about it. Thank you

Answer
Hi Jeff,
The two items do share a common fuse, #14, so check to see if that one is OK.  Other than that, check fuse 5 that also powers the radio. That one also power the cigar lighter and it might have gotten a coin or paper clip in the socket and blown that #5 fuse. Then you might want to check that the ground wires from the stereo to the metal structure nearby behind it wasn't disturbed. The ground wires are on pin 11 and pin 22 of the plug at the rear of the radio and go directly to the ground. I don't believe there is any reset involved in the radio.
