Chevrolet Repair: chevy s10 non-tilt steering-lock cylinder removal, chevy s10, hex head

hello,i replaced lock cylinder but cant figure out where this screw goes--hex head with a wood type thread and smooth ending shaft--pin maybe?--new cylinder wont go back to acc position--didnt look like there was anything holding old cylinder in but came out anyway after loosening 4 screws deep into column

Hi Greg, This screw holds the lock cylinder from just pulling out of the column. Look in the column just below the lock cylinder and you'll see the hole for this screw. It goes behind the key buzzer part that has 2 copper contacts.
