Chrysler Repair: 06 Sebring Convert.: driver power window, private option, side switch

Question
We put the top down on our convertible and when we went to put it up, the windows will no longer operate from the drivers side switch (passenger can still operate their window). Fuse #19 looks fine. The door pull, which I assume is where you access the switch to the windows has a screw that looks to be stripped out. Is there some other way to be sure it is the switch, before I have to pay someone to drill out that little screw? I have no clue how to remove the switch from the door without damaging the door's finish.

Answer
Hi Brian,
By fuse 19 do you mean the circuit breaker #2 located next to fuse 14? Did you try to reset the circuit breaker? If so, and it still won't operate the driver window then it may be the switch. You have to remove the door trim panel to get to the switch to test it with and ohm or continuity meter. If you want instructions on removing the panel and on testing the switch send me a follow-up answer, using the 'private' option, and in the body of the text tell me an email address. I can copy some pages of the '06 manual I have on CD and attach them to an email. But i have to have your email address.
