Chrysler Repair: 92 3.0L V-6, no spark, code translation, pink wire

Question
QUESTION: I have a 1992 lebaron with the 3.0 v6 that has no spark. The engine turns over fine. I have replaced the ignition module in the distriburator and checked the coil, I have power to both but still no spark. Any help would be great, thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Josh,
Have you checked for fault codes:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" using the ignition key and doint that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time? Then watch the check engine light, which remains 'on', to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat the process to be sure of an accrurate set of flash counts. Then write back with the results and we'll go from there.
One other possibility is an 'open' distributor rotor so check that between the center and the tip which should be several K ohms.
Let me know what you find.
Roland

QUESTION: Below the screen it says traveler it displays fuel econ, dte,and other things. It is located above the heater controls in the center of the dash. This car also has an all digital dash. There is no check engine light that flashes, and when I do the code check with the key that code pops up on the screen. It is a four door sedan with an  automatic trans. That is all I know. Thanks

Answer
About the check engine light, you have a burned out bulb. It is located on lower left of the cluster, just to the left of the high beam indicator light. If you would prefer to not remove the cluster to change it, you could go to pin 32 of the 60-way connecter of the pcm and put a pin through the black/pink wire, and then attach your voltmeter or 12v test light between the pin and battery ground (chassis) and count the flashing of the bulb that way to get you fault code readout. About the traveller, I don't have a code translation for that malfunction.
