BMW Repair: 94 bmw 325i, rush hour traffic, bmw 325i

Question
the car has only 61k miles and i don't believe it has ever been serviced.  i wanted to get it serviced about 10k miles ago but the mechanic said i didn't need to and that i should be able to go 100k miles.  needless to say i won't be going back to him.

the trunk button is not pressed in and stuck, i can press it in and out, it just doesn't pop and release the latch.  i don't feel or hear the actuator from the central locking system so maybe it is that, stuck in the locked position.  does the system have 1 fuse or does each actuator or at least the trunk have it's own fuse?

would i have to take the door panel off to lube the window track or can i do it from the cracks?

Thanks

3 questions please:

1) auto trany clunks when i brake hard and accelerate too soon, if i brake slow and smooth like normal it downshifts fine.  it upshifts fine.  it also jumps and clunks if i brake hard in rush hour traffic.  what could be causing this downshift problem? solutions?

2) trunk won't open.  the button won't pop.  the other 4 doors work fine w/ key, remote, etc.  i can turn the key in the trunk lock but with no action.  is it the popper button, the actuator, or both?  can i fix or get open by crawling through back seat?  can i take the latch apart by loosening the 3 screws i see from inside trunk? best place for the parts? dealer wants $140 for both

3) driver's side window squeals while opening, especially in the winter.  sometimes while closing using auto button it closes but then opens about 2 inches and stops.  it has been doing this at least 4 years, i thought it was maybe the motor unit but it has never failed, just noisy.

Thank you very much for your time and expertise.

Do you have alot of miles on your car? Has the transmission ever been serviced?
You can't gain access through the seat. Is the button fully pressed in and stuck there?
And lubing and cleaning the window tracks should quiet it down

Answer
Have you tried unlocking the latch with the key in different postions to see if there might be a catch somewhere inside. If it is the electrical lock as you think access to the wires probably can be gained under the seat in the wiring harness. An electrical diagram would be very helpful, check a maual for the colors.
