Chrysler Repair: power steering hose: 98 Concorde, 1998 chrysler concorde, chrysler concorde

Question
I have a 1998 Chrysler Concorde with a 2.7ltr looks like I will have to replace the pressure hose on the power steering pump as it is leaking. How tough a job to replace it? I am really handy with tools and have a pretty good working knowledge of how things work. I don't have access to a lift so would be blocking up the car. Any advice or guidelines would be appreciated.
Thanks
Scot

Answer
Hi Scot,
Unfortunately, the job is about 2 dozen steps in each direction which is covered in 4 pages of the '98 manual. I have that in hard copy and would have to xerox and postal mail those to you. On the other hand I have the '04 manual on CD which would allow me to copy and email the pages to you. The procedure appears to be virtually identical between the manuals. If you want the hard copy which is probably more clear and convenient let me know your postal mailing address. If you want the CD copy let me know your email address. In either case, use the 'private' option when you do the follow-up question so that the personal info remains confidential. I can do the emailing tonight and then you can let me know after you get it if you want me to send you hard copies by postal mail. I'll let you decide if you want to go ahead, without evaluation as to the difficulty as I haven't done this myself.
