Chrysler Repair: 98 Stratus (Cirrus): Code 31, digit code number, chrysler stratus

Hello,
I have a Chrysler Stratus (2,5 V6, 1998), and I got the fault code 31 at starting the engine. If I cancel the code (battery disconnect), the PCM doesnt show it again in cold weather. The check engine light switch on at the starting only, and can see until i disconnect the battery.
What can be the problem?

The 31 codes points to a problem with the gasoline evaporation emission collection and recycling system. Because there are so many possible reasons, I would recommend that you get a more sophisticated code readout via a plug-in code reader which will likely focus toward exactly what is wrong. Many nationwide autoparts stores (such as Autozone) will do the readout for free. The number will have 4 digits. Ask for the number and what it means. Then write back and tell me what you learned and we'll go from there. It is probably a hose that is leaking or disconnected but it could be a component of the system as well. So get that 4 digit code number.
