Chrysler Repair: 96 Chrysler Sebring 2.5 V-6: no start/no codes when hot, chrysler sebring, crank sensor

Question
I have a 96 chrysler sebring that stalls when it warms up approximately 15-20min of idle time, will not restart warm but soon as it cools off roughly an hour itll restart and run fine till warm. It has no codes in computer system had a cam sensor code so i replaced the distributor and also changed coil after because of stalling persisted but now no cam sensor or any codes exist. Any help you can give is gresatly appreciated thanks.

Answer
Hi Rob,
That sure sounds like a sensor is failing when it warms up, but maybe not so significantly as to set a code. I would check to see if you have spark or not when it has gone through the cycle and won't start when hot. If so, and with no other codes, I would change the crank sensor as the most logical reason for this.
