ihave a 2002 300 shooting the 1776 trouble code i tried switching the relays and that did not solve the problem. the shift pack was replaced about a year ago so i dont see it bein bad alresdy do you have any suggestions please email back thank you for your time

Answer
Hi Brett,
The possibilities are:
the low/reverse pressure switch itself is bad
the transmission control relay output circuit is open
the control circuit (sense) of the l/r switch is open, shorted to ground or shorted to voltage.
I am not certain which LH-model year the powertrain controller/transmission controller were combined into a single unit "new generation controller (NGC)" but if you can tell me whether or not you have a single controller with 4 plugs or two controllers then I can tell you the wire connections that you can check for continuity or shorts. If that finds no problem then replacing the pack again or possibly the module would be worth considering.
