Chrysler Repair: 99 Sebring convert: abs light on, chrysler sebring, wheel bearings

Question
I have a 99 Chrysler sebring convt. 2.5 eng, auto . the abs lights stay on , I had it checked at Midas ,,they read the codes ,test drove it and told me the 4 sensors were ok, they think it may be a bad ground or bad controller, take to a dealer. I don't have the codes that they read out.

I then checked and verified that the 2 wires in the large harness connected to the controller were grounded ok. There was ALSO a separate 2 wire harness that APPARENTLY leads to the pump for this controller . I did not check that, don't know how or if it could be the problem?? Do you have any ideas for me to try out? I bought the car this way. I have new brakes in front. Midas told me the sensors were ok. Could it possibly have anything to do with Wheel Bearings? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for all you do.

Answer
Hi Tom,
I do have the manuals for the abs trouble shooting but they depend upon the codes, or the wording of the faults as they are presented as text on the code reader. If you can possibly get those readouts exactly I can then try to help resolve this. I would not be able to give you any direction without them. Can you ask Midas to give you exactly what the readout said? I would believe if you paid for this that they would do it again for free.
