Chrysler Repair: 1996 Concorde blower motor replacement, chrsyler, blower motor

Question
I have a 1996 chrsyler concorde, the blower motor was making
a very bad noise and finally after 2 years quit operating.
I have the dash torn apart and am down to the last screw to
get out the motor cover off, it is up against the fire wall
and I can BARELY get a socket on there, but NO WAY to get
the ratchet on. Any suggestions???

Answer
Hi Joe,
The manual just says to remove the lower edge (silencer duct) of the right side of the dash to give you better access. Remove the plug for the motor at the resistor block/module. Squessze the grommet on the motor wire at the housing and slide it out of the housing cover.
Then remove the housing cover, the screws on the blower, and finally remove the motor and wheel. I wish I could tell you a trick but I haven't done it myself.
