Chrysler Repair: 07 Pacifica: front turn signals only not working, turn signal switch, chrysler pacifica

Question
QUESTION: where is the front turn signals flasher and fuses in a Chrysler pacifica 2007.

ANSWER: Hi Moe,
There is no flasher, rather that function is done by the body computer. The fuse that powers the turn signals is #31 in the box in the engine compartment. If that is OK, then it might be the turn signal switch or associated wiring which I can tell you about. Is it just the front lights that are not working or all 4 corners?

QUESTION: thank you, i check both fuse # 31 and fuse 48 and both are Ok.
It is just the front signal lights.  the rear lights are fine.  so what is the problem? how to fix it? Thanks

ANSWER: Hi Moe,
The only reasons I can see for the front turn signals not working would be
1.the filaments in the turn signal bulbs are burned out
2.a black 6-wire disconnect located in the left front corner of the engine compartment has become disconnected; it is located at the left edge of the radiator in that corner of the engine compartment but there would be some other lights also involved were this the case.
3. there is a fault in the body control module; you could check the wires on the #2 plug at the bcm (black exterior/greem interior) at pins 1 and 3 which would show 12v pulsing when you have the left and right turn activated. If you find those output voltages then you could check at the disconnect pins 3 and 6 where the left side turn pulsing would bo on the light green/white for left and the light green/tan wire for right turn activated. If you have that then the bulb filaments are burned out or there is some identical problem in the bulb sockets. If you don't find the voltages at the bcm plug then there is something the matter with the bcm itself since it is pulsing on separate wires that go to the rear turn bulbs.
I will be interested to learn what you find out.

QUESTION:
Hi Ronald: to remind you with this case: A  Pacifica 2007:  The left and right front turn signals do not work but the rear ones work.  When the flasher is on, the front signals do not work but the rear ones do work.  The strange thing I just found out is that the front turn signals go on when the parking light is on.   They stay on all the time and do not blink and turn off when the parking light is off.
The voltage reading between the two ( green/ black wires) in Pin # 1 and Pin #3 in the BCM is 5.   Do you still think it’s a Faulty BCM. Or it’s a faulty wiring.
If the BCM is changed does it need to be reprogrammed.
Thanks.

Answer
Based on your new information, I think it is faulty connections at either/both the left or the right bulb socket or in the socket itself, or a bulb itself that is in the socket is defective and has opened the turn signal voltage, and/or shorted the turn signal filament to the parking lamp filament. There is connection between the parking lamp wiring and the turn signal wiring EXCEPT at the bulb socket itself. You probably have defective bulbs or defective sockets. I don't think the BCM has anything to do with this.
