Towing Issues: WE PARKED A FRIENDS CAR IN OUR SPACE, apartment condo, condo complexes

DEAR RICHARD,

WE HAVE PARKED A FRIENDS CAR IN OUR ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE. HE IS WORKING ON GETTING HIS REGISTATION UP TO DATE. NOW MANAGEMENT SAYS THEY WILL TOW THE CAR IF REGISTRATION IS NOT ON THE CAR IN 72 HOURS.

PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS TRYING MATTER.

I have no solid answer here, as I do not know where this is happening and all that...

BUT AS A RULE, apartment - condo complexes have rules - regulations in the lease - rental agreements regarding "unlicensed vehicles" and that they are subject to towing...

I would solve the registration problem fast or find another place to park the vehicle before it is towed.  Remember that the assigned parking space is on private property and any vehicle not registered to that space is subject to towing.
