Chrysler Repair: 2002 Chrysler Town & Country AC, chrysler town, option forces

When I start my 2002 Chrysler Town & Country EX the AC will sometime turn on.  I always turn off the AC when I shut down the car and yet it still turns on.  This will happen in warm or cold weather, car warm or cold, I cannot find the pattern.  No fault codes are being reported.

Hi Mike,
I suspect you had selected the windshield 'defrost' position when you have turned it off previously. That defrost option forces the ac compressor to be activated as the defrost function works better when the air that is applied to the windshield is pre-cooled. So nothing is probably wrong with your ac.
