Chrysler Repair: 1986 Chrysler Lebaron will not start, chrysler lebaron convertible, chrysler lebaron

Question
I have a 1986 Chrysler Lebaron convertible with an 2.5 liter
engine that turns over but will not start. It is not receiving
fuel.It is not the fuel ejector, fuel pump or the logic
module. Any advice?

Answer
Turn the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on", then watch the check engine light which remains 'on' to see it begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the flashes before each pause. Then repeat to assure an accurate set of counts. Then tell me the counts in order of appearance and we'll go from there.
You should hear the fuel pump run for about a second when you turn the key to run. Do you?
If there are no flashes let me know and I'll give you an idea or two.
The self-readout by the flashing of the check engine light may have begun in the '87 model year so we'll look at the output of the hall effect sensor in the distributor using a voltmeter, if you have one.
