I was wondering if I can get a different amp to replace this one, if so, do you happen to have the wiring diagram for the existing amp. which one do you recommend. QUESTION: The car is a 97 Chrysler Sebring JXI V6

Answer
Hi Jorge,
I have the wiring diagrams for the '96 and '98 models. They are not identical, the earlier one has a single plug, the later has 2 plugs. I don't know which one applies to the '97 but you could inquire at a dealer parts counter as to which power amp is used in your car. I doubt it is a unique '97 amp only for that year. Once you know what you have there let me know and I will xerox copy and mail you the wiring diagrams. I would believe that you would do better to find a used amp at a pull-it-yourself wrecking yard from a Sebring convert that has the same amp. There are too many pitfalls to believe that re-wiring the plugs and wiring to accept some other brand or even year makes any sense.

PS The wiring diagrams take about 9 pages so if you want them I would send them to you. After you get them if you would send me back three 44-cent stamps to cover my costs that would be appreciated.
