Chrysler Repair: AC: radiator fans cycle on-off frequently, radiator fans, chrysler sebring

Question
My radiator fans are cycling every 5 or 10 secs when the AC is on and the car is alomst overheating. it is a chrysler sebring 2003 2.4 liters DOHC.  I checked all possible things after your reccomendations, and it didnlt get fikxed.  Lastly, you mentioned that the fans could be cooling tghe coolant or the pressure in the AC was low.  I have never serviced the cooling system. Do you think that changing the coolant help?  I'm also checking the AC pressure as well.

Answer
Hi Jose,
I earlier suggested that the fuses that powers the fans may be flakey, so check the output of both #12 and #23 in the power distribution center while this on-off phenomenon is being demostrated. Those fuses should show a solid 12v on BOTH sides of the fuse at all times, but particularly when the fans are going on and off. Changing the coolant after 7 years makes reasonable sense. It could be the AC pressure is too low or too high as well so that is a good idea. But verify the fuses first.
