Answer
Hi Sam,
The 35 code says there is problem with the fan relay circuit. The energizing of both relays requires current from fuse 20 in the panel behind the left cap of the dash (10 Amp). That fuse might have a crack that is opening the fuse as it is called into action. The outboard pin of both ran relays is the one that receives the current from that fuse, so you could verify 12V is present there when the key is in the run position. The other end of the coils are connected to pins 32 and 31 of the pcm, and those wires are on the inboard pins of the relay socket. Check that out to see what you find. The fans get current from the relay switch contacts that derives from fuse D (20 Amp) in the same power box so look at that fuse for a crack in its wire.
The 26 code is about a problem with one of the fuel injector circuits.

PS These details are from the '94 manual which I believe applies to your '97. It may be that the fuse behind the dash is #21, and the one in the power box is actually fuse B ( 30A,high speed) and fuse E (40A,low speed) as shown in the '98 manual, ao let me know which appears to be the case. I don't have the '97 manual, but one or the other of them does apply.
