Chrysler Repair: Cruise control loss: 05 Neon, dodge neon sxt, 2005 dodge neon sxt

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT and up untill lastnight I was not having any problems with it, but then all of a sudden the cruise control dont work no  more. When you push the ON/OFF button the CRUISE indicator light will appear in the instrument cluster but it goes away and now i have no CC... HELP PLEASE!!!??

Hi Aaron,
Check fuses 1 (10 amp) to be sure it isn't blown as that is the power souuce for the cruise control which is shown in my '04 manual. Look closely at the fuse to be sure it doesn't have a crack in its wire. It that appears to be ok then try to get a fault code readout, for free. at an Autozone parts store. Let me know of any such 4-digit numbers that come up which may help us identify the cause.
There is a 7-page section in the manual which I can xerox copy and mail to you if we can't identify a simple fix. Then you can go through it with those pages. But check the fuse and try for fault codes first.
