Chrysler Repair: Driver side sliding door wont open, power fuse, postal mail

Question
I have a 01 town and country and the driver side sliding door won't open. It dose not respond to the remote or trying to open it manualy. Is there something I can do to fix the problem?

Answer
Hi Daniel,
I assume that the right power door is functioning so that means the power fuse which also powers the driver door is OK. When the door will not open manually or electrically it probably means there is a mechanical issue with its function. The only simple possibility is that the safety interlock with the gas tank filler door is out of adjustment. So check that out by opening and shutting the fuel filler door to see if that seems normal or not. There are 3 pages in the manual that show how to remove/install that interlock. I can copy and mail those to you for free as the cost is low enough to not make it worthwhile for you to reimburse me.
Otherwise, it would involve doing all the mechanical investigations associated with the door to free it up. The section in the manual about the power sliding door is 21 pages in length.  That would cost about $2.65 to copy and postal mail to you. If you would agree to send back six 44-cent stamps after you receive the pages, please tell me a postal mailing address and I will do that. Or if you want the 3 pages just let me know your postal address.
