Chrysler Repair: 91 New Yorker: dies/cools/restarts, crank shaft, chrysler new yorker

Question
I have a 91 Chrysler New Yorker and it just all of a sudden died with no indicator. Once it cools it starts again but only for a short time. Now I've replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel stop sensor, crank shaft sensor, coil pack, and the main computer. After each replacement, I try to let it run only to find that after about 15 minutes it dies again and will not restart until cool.

Answer
Hi Roger,
That sounds like a sensor that is wearing out and fails when heated. Have you tried for fault code readout? Turn the ignition key: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light to see it flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat the process to assure an accurat set of counts. Tell me the counts in order of appearance and we'll go from there. Tell me which engine is in the car as well; apparently it is a V-6. And what is a 'fuel stop' sensor?
