Chrysler Repair: Rear Seat removal: LH body, rear seat removal, chrysler 300m

I am trying to replace the rear seat in my 2000 Chrysler 300m. I dont know how to lift out the seat. There is a spot in the middle of the seat but it wont come out. Can you help??? Thanks.

Hi Maryanne,
The seat cushion is held to the floor by two loops on the underside that are positioned on either side of the center 'tunnel', approximately where the passenger would be seated. If you lift up/slightly forward on the underside of the seat at those two points the loops will release from the cups in the floor in which they are inserted. It could be there is rust or other friction retaining the loops so you may have to have two people, one on either side, to release the loops.
