Chrysler Repair: 01 Chrysler Voyager Passenger door lock, chrysler voyager, door latch

I am assuming that the grinding noise that we are hearing when we unlock the doors (only coming from the passenger front door) is the motor going out.  Is it relatively easy to fix or should we just plan to manually use that lock once it fully goes out.  It still locks and unlocks and is only making the noise when unlocking.

yes a door latch is what U would need  and if u wait until it no longer works  it will stop o the unlock  or lock place  and U cant do anything about it from there.  Unlocked  u wont lock your door  if it locks  then u get to have a big pain to figure out how to open the door to remove the door panel to replace it then.
