Hi Ray,
To replace the gaskets you also need to remove the upper part of the intake manifold. That is a 19-step process to remove and the same to install. The valve cover/gasket is just 4 steps. Rather than typing in all those steps and also you wouldn't get the helpful figures, I would prefer to xerox copy and postal mail the info to you. Let me know a postal mailing address and I will do that. Can you access any of the screws that hold on the covers? If so, try tightening those to 5 foot-pounds (careful, don't break them) and see if that stops a leak you may have to deal with. Otherwise be prepared for a fairly lengthy effort.
