Chrysler Repair: cowl trim rear of hood, hood latch, windshield wiper

Question
Kevin, 2000 LHS. Plastic cowl/hood trim broke off. Appears plastic tabs on trim part holding metal 'jesus clips'/spring clips are mostly broken off. How do I remove metal tabs from hood locator holes without scatching hood? Finger pressure doesn't seem to be doing it. I assume this is a common failure and the trim piece is available through Chrysler. Also have to put in a battery and I found an old post of your's on how to get at it. Location sure makes what should be an easy job difficult..... At least they didn't put it under the rear seat like Audi did sometimes,ie. Audi 5000. Thanks, Walt
