Chrysler Repair: Cradle bushing removal and replacement: LH-car, 1997 chrysler concorde, chrysler concorde

Question
Kevin: I need the procedures for removal and replacement of the two forward cradle to body isolator bushings for a 1997 Chrysler Concorde.  They are located behind the front wheels of the car.

                        Thanks,
                                 Robert

Answer
Hi Robert,
I found your question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred by Kevin. The two manuals I have for the LH in those years, '94-98, describe a 13-step in and out procedure for separating the cradle from the body, though the cradle design appeared to change somewhere along the line.
I don't see any specific separate instruction for replacing the isolator bushings you want to change out, but I assume that this overall procedure which involves an engine support and floor jack, and jack stands is what is involved. I can either xerox copy and postal mail the pages on Monday, or type in the steps by hand, but that would not give you the main 'figure' of the cradle. Let me know if I am understanding your needs and which way you want to get the information of which I write. There are also be some steps involving suspension components so I will need to check that out info too (lower control arm to spindle and to ball joint is mentioned). Send me a follow-up question telling me your preference.
