Chrysler Repair: loss of power, dodge dynasty, muffler shop

Roland when driving at beltway speed 55-65 it will loose power
and i have to pill off the road and after 60 seconds or so it will be ok rough idle goes away and be ok this happens 1 or 2 times a week no more fuel filter is new with no change any thing i can check?

Hi BIlly,
Try for fault codes:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" using the ignition key and doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then count the number of flashes before each pause that is shown by the check engine light. Do it again to get an accurate set of flash counts, then write back and tell me them in the order of appearance. The other thing it could be is a partially clogged catalytic converter which causes a power limit at higher rpms. A muffler shop can check that out with a flow meter. But get the codes first and we'll go from there.
