Chrysler Repair: 2002 300C xmission:range sensor plug, range sensor, wiring connector

Question
I am attempting to remove the valve body and cannot get the range sensor wiring connector loose. The little red clip is pulled out about 3/8 inch. Is there anything special I need to do, or a special tool to get it apart?

Hi John,
The only thing I can suggest is to check for a locking tab on the edge of the plug which if lifted will release it from the socket. Sorry for the delay as I just found your question in the pool to which it had been referred.
