Chrysler Repair: ABS/ Tire Pressure 07 Grand Caravan, underinflated tire, grand caravan

Question
MY ABS light is on.  Could it be caused by low tire pressure in 1 or more tires? Or from tires that are worn?

Answer
Hi Dave,
I am not aware that issue could cause an ABS fault. Unless the actual speed of rotation of the wheel was detectably different than other wheels, which would take it seems to me a severly underinflated tire, I doubt it would be a cause for the ABS light. It might trigger the ABS into action, but not cause a fault code.
You might want to get a fault code readout of the ABS controller memory to see what fault code it has stored in its memory. Once you know that let me know the exact name of the code and we can see what the shop manual says  could be the cause of the fault which is causing the warning light. An Autozone parts store might do that for free, or an independent garage for $40 or less.
