Chrysler Repair: Side Marker Lights 2001 Chrysler LHS, 2001 chrysler lhs, chrysler lhs

Question
Good Morning,

I have read my owners manual regarding the access/replacement of the side marker lights.  It does not mention removing of the fascia, as it does in the headlight replacement section.  When I reach up under the vehicle, there is limited to no room for my hand to work around in there.  The drivers side seems more accessible by hand, but I am unable to pull the bulb casing out when unscrewed, as there is no room to pull back on it.

Do you have any ideas?  Other access methods?

Thank you for all of your time!

P.S. Links with pictures would be helpful if you know of any.

Nelson

Answer
Hi Nelson,
The '99 manual for the LHS and for the '04 Concorde read indentically: reach behind the fascia and rotate the socket to remove from the housing. Once socket is removed change the bulb. There is no alternative to that approach that is mentioned. Those are the two manuals I have that bracket the '01 model that you own. The alternative is to remove the fascia. I can xerox and postal mail you a couple of pages from the '99 manual that show how to do that. Just give me a postal mailing address.
