Audio Systems: stock radio ipod/mp3 integration, silverado trucks, fm modulator

Question
So i have a 2004 silverado with a stock Cd player does not have boss or cd changer. I really want an ipod/mp3 integration. I've heard that fm modulators work well and im interested in them the most. Can i connect an Fm modulator to the back of my stock cd player? If so which one would be the best for my truck? Thank you.

fm modulator are the worse kind of devices to input audio
use a auxiliary audio input interface, there is a AUX button on the GM radio
all chevrolets,silverado trucks have that button
you just need the cable
