Chrysler Repair: 1999 300m: drive belt replacement, tensioner pulley, drive belts

Question
how do u replace the drive belts on a chrysler 300m

Answer
Hi Brandon,
I will assume you have the 3.5L engine. Both belts have a tensioner pulley which is locked in place by the nut on the pulley shaft. So loosen that nut, then turn the adjusting screw on the pulley assembly to release the tension on the belt. Then reverse the process. When doing the generator/power steering belt you will want to remove the lower air shield by means of removing its clips on the engine cradle.
