I wonder which transmission you have in the car? If it is the three-speed automatic (1,2,D) then this is a phantom code because that transmission doesn't have a tcm. If it is an electronic autumatic (L,3,OD) then it may be one of several causes: electric circuits to the transmission control module (tcm), the tcm itself, the body controm module (bcm), the pci bus wire. The circuits and wires can be tested with a volt-ohm meter, while the module can only be tested with a diagnostic reader. So if you have the electronic transmission let me know, otherwise ignore the code.
