Chrysler Repair: Chrysler TC 2005 Driver side sliding door will not unlock., chrysler tc, 42 cent stamps

Base TC 2005 Rear Driver Sliding door stopped working with the remote. I was doing it by hand for about a week until i can get it in the shop and then it locked and will not unlock. its jammed and i can't pull it up as hard as i try (with my hands-no tools). Any ideas?

Hi Moshe,
I would believe that you need to get inside the door and inspect the latch/lock mechanism. To do that you need to remove the upper molding around the window (push-in fasteners), remove screw from ash receiver bezel, remove screw from pull cup, remove about a dozen fasteners of the trim panel from its circumference, and then the panel is out of the way.
There are 15 pages about the door in my '02 manual which I could xerox copy and mail to you if you would like the details. It would cost me about the same as five 42-cent stamps to do that which you can send me back after you get them. Give me a postal mailing address if you like.
