Answer
HI Musa,
Here is the procedure for programming the fobs:
Using a functional fob, unlock the vehicle and disarm the system (unlocking should also disarm it).
Insert key to ignition switch
Turn the key to the run position without starting the engine
Using a functional fob, press and hold the unlock button for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 seconds
Before the 10 seconds has elapsed and while still holding the unlock button press the Panic button and then release both buttons at the same time. A single chime will sound indicating the module is ready to receive the new fob access code.
Within 30 seconds of the chime, press and release the lock and unlock buttons on the new fob of the new fob and then release them. Then press and release any one of the buttons on the new fob. An abbreviated chime will sound which indicates the new fob has been accepted.
To do another new fob, simply repeat beginning at: "within 30 seconds...." The programming mode will last for 30 seconds after you finish programming a fob, so if you don't do the second one soon enough go back to the start. Just turn off the key to also end the programming mode and no further fobs will be accepted unless you go back to the beginning.
Then check out whether the new fobs have been entered in the system by trying them out.
This procedure is from the '98 minivan manual, so it should apply.
On the theft alarm system, try lock/unlock of the passenger side door using the key to see if that will clear it. There is wire from the lock to the body computer that has to be patent for the disarming to occur, and it wears out in the hinge area of door on the driver side, but often the passenger side will still work. If not, then let me know and I can describe which pin at the body controller you need to manipulate to mimic the unlocking of the lock. The system cannot be removed, only avoided. Do that by never using the key fob, the power door lock, or even the door key to secure the van. Only use the mechanical push bottons in the doors and the alarm will never be 'set' again.
