Chrysler Repair: chrysler concorde engine or sensor problem, chrysler concorde, crank sensor

Question
I have a 93 concorde with a 3.3 engine and a couple of months ago I had the crank sensor replaced and a day later the car started to stumble when accelerating when the engine warmed up and when in a stopped position the engine would sometimes surge and sometimes stumble and stall. When all this happens the check engine light will flash on and off and so will the cruise light. When it is cool outside the car runs perfect but when it is warm out side it starts to buck a lot sooner.I had it hooked to a diagnostic computer and no codes have been inputted. The dodge dealer in my area says the car is to old for their diagnostic computer so I am at a loss and don't have the money to start throwing away replacing every sensor until I get it right. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.   Dave

Answer
93 is less sensitive to faults than the next wave of diagnostics which came in 95.I don't want to tell you to start replacing sensors but a good one to start with would be the cam sensor. However I'm thinking its sounding more like a wiring problem.I would take a close look at the engine harness where it comes in contact the engine or anything metal.Do what is called a wiggle test. With the engine running wiggle the harness around at the connectors. To see if you can make the condition arise.  The Cam sensor is front and center.Pcm(engine controller) is under the air cleaner housing.Another thing ,on your model,if I came across a cam or crank sensor code.I would replace both of them.Your local dealership is turning away profits.I wonder if thier techs know they're doing that. What area are you in?
